Adriano set for Inter return
Adriano's loan spell at The Artemio Franchi expires at the end of the season and with The Viola set to be relegated to Serie B Adriano will return to Milan.
The 19-year-old moved to Fiorentina on loan in January after finding himself well down the pecking order at Inter behind Christian Vieri, Ronaldo, Alvaro Recoba, Nicola Ventola and Mohamed Kallon.
Adriano has impressed at Fiorentina scoring five goals and Moratti feels he deserves another chance at Inter.
He impressed in the 1-0 defeat to Inter at the weekend and with rumours surrounding the future of Ronaldo Inter will be keen to have all their striking options available.
"Adriano really is an exceptional player," said Moratti. "Other than his talents he is also a very humble lad and will do well in this world.
"It would be a terrible mistake to not bring him back to the San Siro." In the first half he showed he was a champion and kept our defence on their toes all by himself.
Meanwhile, Inter are being linked with a move for Valencia midfielder Ruben Baraja.
The Spanish international played under current Inter boss Hector Cuper when he was at The Mestalla and the Argentine coach is a big fan of the tough-tackling midfielder.
With Inter set to play in the Champions League next season the club are looking at ways for strengthening the squad for next term and Baraja is their top summer target.
