Andre Luis to make decision on future
The Tenerife player has impressed since he moved to The Stade Velodrome last summer on loan from the Canary Island side, and has attracted interest from Championnat side PSG.
L'OM have not yet offered him a permanent stay with them despite his displays and it is PSG who seem keen to sign him.
A stalling point for Marseille, who have financial difficulties, is the estimated é¼12 million asking price Tenerife would want for the player, who says that he would like to stay with l'OM but will make his decision soon.
"For a lot of reasons, I would prefer to stay here but no one in l'OM has really told me they want to keep me," said Luis.
"About the rumour of another offer, I don't want to say anything else about that but I will take a decision for next week.
"I need to know what I will do next year, I want to know. I must admit this wait irritates me.
"I have my agent on the phone every day, I have to meet Robert Louis-Dreyfus this week. Next Friday, after the game against Paris, I could state where I will go.
"I want to stay in France and I clearly said so to Tenerife. I want to play in the European Cup. It is important for my career. This year, the fact I didn't play in a European team was a disadvantage for me."
