Noel-Williams out for the year
WATFORD striker Gifton Noel-Williams is expected to be out of action until next year after suffering a serious knee ligament injury.
The 22-year-old picked up the injury during last month's defeat at Barnsley and he is set to be on the sidelines until Christmas.
The powerful hit-man, who has scored nine goals this season, is set to undergo an operation soon to cure the problem.
It is the latest in a long line of injuries which have curtailed the promising striker's career.
The news is also a major blow for Hornets boss Gianluca Vialli as he plans for next season with Noel Williams firmly established as his first-choice striker when fit.
