Warnock admits McCall interest
Warnock is considering offering McCall a player-coach role, but he admits that the former Scottish international is not his main priority.
"I spoke to his (McCall's) agent a few weeks ago and said to him then I won't be doing anything until mid-May when I know what our financial situation is," Warnock revealed.
"It depends on the money involved, but my main priority, to be honest, is a striker."
Warnock has, however, offered terms to 38-year-old Keith Curle - and he is now considering whether to continue his playing career or to hang up his boots and pursue a management role.
"This decision requires a lot of thought," said Curle.
"I appreciate the club making me an offer and there are some exciting times ahead."
Meanwhile, one player to commit his future to the club is French midfielder Benoit Croissant.
The 21-year-old has signed a one-year deal to keep him at Bramall Lane until next summer at least.
Croissant's midfield partner in The Blades second XI - Colin Cryan, has also opened talks over a new contract.
