Bayer want Rebrov
The 27-year-old former Dynamo Kiev is almost certain to leave White Hart Lane in the summer, after a torrid two years in North London.
Buriak claims that Leverkusen and Italian's Lazio are fighting for his signature.
"I have talked to Sergei a lot about his situation," said Buriakk.
"He tells me there are two clubs keen on signing him, Leverkusen and Lazio."
The Ukrainian supremo also reveals that Lazio offered Jaap Stam to Spurs, but the former Manchester United ace shunned a return to The Premiership.
"Lazio were prepared to offer Stam as part of the deal but it seems he does not want to go to Tottenham," he added.
Rebrov cost Spurs a club record £11 million in the summer of 2000, but now it seems that Glenn Hoddle could be willing to accept as little as £6 million, to get one of the club's highest earners off the wage bill.
Tottenham are already believed to have a replacement lined up for Rebrov, with Sunderland's Kevin Phillips being strongly tipped to make the move from the Stadium of Light.
