Ronaldinho fears for Brazil

RONALDINHO feels Brazil`s lack of tactical acumen could hinder their progress at this summer`s World Cup finals.

The Paris Saint Germain attacker, who has secured his place at the summer showpiece with a string of fine performances for Luis Felipe Scolari`s men, has pointed to the lack of squad get-togethers as a possible reason why they may struggle in Japan and Korea.

Ronaldinho, who feels France and Argentina will be the teams to beat, said: "Our strength is undoubtedly in attack, but we still need to make progress from a tactical point of view.

"We don't really get together to discuss it often enough. We've now only got a month left and there are still a few small points to be fine-tuned."

The youngster does, though, believe they are improving all the time and feels the return of Ronaldo from injury is a massive boost.

"The team is more stable now," he told Fifa.com. "The structure is unchanged, but the players are now used to playing together. Automatic understandings are being formed, which instils confidence."

When asked about Ronaldo, he added: "He has been on the up for the last two years and I'm chuffed to bits about it. He seems to be hitting top form one month before the tournament. I think he will be 100 percent ready, and we're all behind him. It's what he's been preparing for. He's a very important player for Brazil who has extraordinary talent."

Commenting on France and Argentina, he said: "It's to our advantage that everyone is focusing on these two teams. Brazil are not in the equation, or at least not as much as at previous tournaments. The reduced pressure should make it easier for us to progress. The quality of our play might surprise a few people."
