United rubbish Veron reports
Newspaper speculation had suggested that the Argentinian had stormed out of Old Trafford after a furious bust-up following United's Champions League exit against Bayer Leverkusen.
Veron had reportedly been blamed by several of his team-mates for United's failure, both in The Premiership and in Europe, with matters coming to a head on Tuesday.
It was claimed that the midfielder had fled to Rome with his family, reigniting rumours of a return to his old club Lazio.
The Biancoceleste's coach-in-waiting Roberto Mancini is believed to have discussed a potential summer move with Veron over the telephone.
However, The Red Devils are adamant there was no showdown between Veron and his club colleagues, with the Argentine in training on Sunday.
"These stories are utter rubbish," director of communications Paddy Harverson told ManUtd.com
"Seba has been in training this morning, and there was no row between any of the players after the game in Germany."
