Reiziger happy to stay at Barca
MICHAEL REIZIGER expects to stay at Barcelona now that former coach Louis van Gaal is set to take over at Camp Nou.
The Dutch full back looked set to leave the Catalan giants in the summer with Manchester United linked with the former Ajax ace.
The 29-year-old has found himself out-of-favour at Barca this season and was expected to move onto pastures new for regular first team football.
However Reiziger, who played under van Gaal at Ajax and was brought to Barcelona by his compatriot, now seems happy to stay in Spain.
The Dutch international admitted he was proud to be linked with a move to United but that he was now happier at Barcelona.
"I was proud that United were looking at me, but I have commitment with Barcelona and I am quite happy," he commented.
