Suriprofs too good for Zwolle

GOUDEN GIDS DIVISIE champions FC Zwolle were beaten 3-1 by the Suriprofs in a now-annual fixture.

For the past three years, the Suriprofs have played the champions of the Gouden Gids Divisie in a friendly affair.

The Suriprofs are a team based on players with Surinam origins but who were brought up in Holland and play in Europe.

Dutch internationals Edgar Davids and Clarence Seedorf were part of the Suriprofs squad.

Indeed, Seedorf grabbed one of the goals in the victory with Clyde Wijnhard notching a brace. Arne Slot fired the consolation.
