Wolves release Sinton

ANDY SINTON has been told his contract will not be renewed by Wolves.

The winger, signed from Tottenham in 1999, has struggled to earn a place under Dave Jones this term and will now look for a new club.

Sinton made just three starts, but did score in the 2-1 win at Preston after coming on as a substitute.

If Sinton can prove his fitness and form over the summer, he is likely to be offered a deal by a club in need of a direct winger.

The Newcastle-born winger has had a solid career, starting life at Cambridge before making his name at Queens Park Rangers.

Lucrative moves to Sheffield Wednesday and Tottenham followed, before Wolves snapped him up on a free transfer.
