Mexico top Rossoneri in L.A.
The side known as El Tri Colores found themselves two goals up thanks to strikes from midfielder Braulio Luna and striker Cuauhtemoc Blanco early in the first half.
Luna put Javier Aguirre's side in front with a header in the ninth minute before Real Valladolid's Blanco scored the second moments later.
The Brazilian Claudio Serginho replied for the Rossoneri ten minutes into the second half but the Mexicans held on to cap a good ending to their pre-World Cup campaign that included eight friendly matches.
Mexico will now prepare for their trip to the Far East, with the Football Confederation giants facing highly-fancied Italy, Eastern European side Croatia, and South American newcomers Ecuador in Group G of this summer's finals.
