Dyer included in England squad

KIERON DYER has been included in the World Cup squad, with Sven Goran Eriksson feeling his knee injury will recover quickly enough for him to take his place in the 23-man party.

The 23-year-old midfielder flew out to join the England squad in Dubai last week, despite Eriksson previously saying it would take a miracle for him to make the squad.

This news means that Trevor Sinclair, who was with the squad on stand-by, will fly back to England tomorrow.
