Beckham nearing full fitness
The Manchester United ace started his first game for two months in Sunday's 1-1 draw against Sweden, but he was withdrawn after an hour of play.
Beckham has denied reports that his injured foot was continuing to give him problems and said that it was his lack of match fitness which forced him off.
"I feel 95 percent fit at the moment and the foot feels a lot better," he said.
"My lungs and legs disappeared on me on Sunday, that has never really happened to me before."
Beckham then switched his focus to the up and coming clash with Argentina and is in confident mood.
"We have to attack them and cannot sit back," he said.
The Red Devil again spoke about the last time he played against the South American side in the World Cup finals, when he was sent-off for kicking Diego Simeone.
"I would love to go back and say it would not happen again, but I would not be the player I am to day if that had not happened," he added.
"Would I be the same person I am today? I don't think so - I am stronger than I have ever been.
"I am looking forward to the game, I played in-doors in the Charity Shield and the atmosphere was brilliant, so I think it should be great," he said talking about the Sapporo Dome - venue for the Argentine game.
Beckham then took time to thank the Asian support the English squad have received and also issued an apology on behalf of the squad after they failed to applaud their fans after the draw with Sweden.
"I have never experienced anything like the kids are great, but I would like to apologise to our fans.
"On Sunday the support we got from the England fans was amazing and after the game we did not go up to them and thank them, we would just like to say sorry on behalf of the squad for that as they deserved better than that and we will make sure it does not happen again."
The Londoner also revealed that he is dreaming of a having a free kick around the Argentine box, as the set-piece expert did not get the chance to show his skills in the Sweden game, although he did take the corner which created England's only goal.
"I will dreaming about it the night before, I would like to get a lot more set pieces, we will have to be more cunning."
Beckham highlighted striker Gabriel Batistuta as a danger, but insisted United team-mate Juan Veron as the biggest danger.
"There are always certain players you pick out and know you have to watch and in the Argentinian squad it is Veron and Batistuta," he continued.
"I think he [Veron] shows a lot of strengths, the main ones are his passing and shooting abilities. People say he has a lot to prove and I don't think he has - I think he is one of the best midfielders in the world.
"He has shown a lot of strength and has come through that well. I think people will see Argentina as favourites, but I don't see it that way.
"We have got to build them up, if we keep telling them how good they are, they might take it easy, but there are no dangers of us doing this."
