Trezeguet slams team-mates
The holders sit currently bottom of Group A after failing to win any of their opening two games going down to a shock defeat to Senegal last week and then a disappointing goalless draw with Uruguay on Thursday.
France have been without talisman Zinedine Zidane for those two games, but Trezeguet feels that the players should not use the absence of the Real Madrid ace as an excuse for their poor showing so far.
"Zidane is not the only guy in this squad who won the World Cup and Euro 2000, there are plenty of others who are not doing as much as they should be," said Trezeguet.
"We are playing so badly and we must not try to blame this on Zidane's absence even if tactically and morally he brings a lot to the team.
"I want to do something brilliant in this tournament but when I look around me I do not see the same determination."
France need to beat Denmark by two clear goals if they are to reach the last 16 in their last game and Trezeguet hopes the challenge will inspire his team-mates to victory.
"Maybe it's a good thing that we need to beat Denmark 2-0. At least we'll have to attack with a bit more purpose," said Trezeguet.
France are set to be boosted by the return of Zidane for the Denmark clash after recovering from his thigh problem.
The World's most expensive player suffered a torn thigh in France's final warm-up game against South Korea a week before the finals began, but he is ready to return against The Danes.
"Zidane has recovered and is ready to play against," said France team doctor Jean-Marcel Ferret.
