Valdano praise for world class Geremi

The impressive African star has grown frustrated at his lack of opportunities in the stellar Real squad, and with links to Chelsea growing daily in the Spanish media, it does appear that the player is his way.

Although the player and his English agents have denied holding talks with the English club, The Premiership is a potential future arena for the wing back.

Valdano will be sorry to lose the player, who is playing an important role in Cameroon's World Cup campaign, but understands the motivation behind a desire to move on.

"The problem with Geremi at Real Madrid has come about because he has played so little," Valdano admitted.
