Chambers not in Wolves talks
ADAM CHAMBERS'S agent Mel Eves has stated that the West Bromwich Albion youngster is not in talks with Wolverhampton Wanderers.
According to reports, the 21-year-old, who is out of contract with the Premiership new-boys this summer, had been discussing a possible move with local rivals Wolves, however this has been denied by his agent.
"No we can't say that," said Eves. "Obviously that is conjecture, people trying to put two and two together.
"There has been a little bit of speculation here just in the local area regarding Wolves, but that is just pure speculation.
"I haven't spoken to Dave Jones or anything. They (Wolves) have not come on to me to say that they want Adam Chambers. It's just a bit of speculation."
Eves revealed that the club are attempting to sort out a new deal for Adam and twin brother James, who is also set to run out of contract, but said no talks will take place until the end of June.
"The club are trying to sort out new deals for them, but as yet nothing has been agreed.
"They can't talk to other clubs, not until their contracts expire on July 1. I would suspect that a lot of other clubs are obviously watching the situation closely.
"Obviously, it is the only club both players have been at. Assuming the right deal can be sorted out, they would be happy to stay.
"They want to play. They'd look forward to the challenge of playing for West Brom. First of all getting in the side at the club and being in The Premiership.
"They are obviously hopeful they can come to some sort of agreement. As yet they have not signed, but that does not mean it cannot be sorted out," concluded Eves.
