Sas admits Roma interest
Sas's performances in the Far East have seen his stock rise and he is being tipped to quit his current club Galatasaray after the tournament.
The attacking midfielder is valued at the £4 million mark by the Istanbul outfit and does have the option to remain in his homeland.
However, it is increasingly likely that Sas will head for Italian shores with Roma the front-runners in the race to capture his services.
Juventus have already shelved their interest, believing the 26-year-old is not good enough to play in Serie A.
But Roma are still in the hunt with Sas poised to make a decision on his future once Turkey's World Cup participation is concluded.
"There have been many offers from European clubs," Sas told Italian news agency ANSA. "I will explain my decision after the World Cup.
"There is an offer to stay with Gala for one more year but they want to keep me for three further years.
"I know Roma want me."
A potential stumbling block to Sas securing a switch to Stadio Olimpico could be the infamous bust-up between Roma and Galatasaray in last season's Champions League.
There was a confrontation between the teams but Sas insists that will not hinder his prospects of a move to the Italian capital.
He added: "I did not mingle in that fight. That is not a handicap for a transfer to Roma."
