PSG keen to keep Ronaldinho

PARIS SAINT GERMAIN boss Luis Fernandez has reaffirmed his desire to keep Brazilian ace Ronaldinho at Parc des Princes next term.

Ronaldinho, who scored the winner that knocked out England but later blotted his copybook by being sent off, has been the subject of interest from the more affluent European leagues.

It would seem, though, that Fernandez is determined to build his team around the supremely gifted Brazilian.

Responding to speculation that PSG are ready to listen to offers for Ronaldinho, Fernandez said: "Before he went to Asia, I spoke to Ronaldinho and he said he wanted to stay at PSG.

"Since then, the situation has not changed as far as I am concerned."

PSG have persistently underachieved in the last few seasons, but Ronaldinho is likely to try and win some silverware next term before considering his future.
