Lazio land Manfredini
LAZIO have completed the signing of Christian Manfredini from Chievo Verona the club have confirmed.
A number of top clubs have been chasing the 27-year-old, but Lazio have won the race for his signature.
The former Genoa ace impressed for surprise package Chievo last season in Serie A with his performances attracting a great deal of interest.
A club statement from Chievo confirmed that the move had been completed.
"The club and fans thank Manfredini for two splendid seasons in the Gialloblu shirt," read the statement. "We all wish him the best of luck in continuing his brilliant career in the Italian capital."
Lazio are believed to have paid a fee in the region of £7 million pounds for Manfredini and they could make a double swoop on Chievo with the Rome outfit thought to be keen on Brazilian midfielder Eriberto.
