Bordeaux chase Traore
BORDEAUX are leading the chase to sign Liverpool defender Djimi Traore.
The 22-year-old ace is set to spend another season on loan in France.
Traore spent all of last term with Lens on a temporary basis, and the versatile defender impressed at the league runners-up.
The former Laval ace has endured a frustrating time at Anfield with his lack of first team chances obvious.
The Reds are willing to let him go out on loan again for some valuable first team experience with Traore again out-of-favour on Merseyside for the forthcoming season.
The player's agent Pape Diouf revealed to Planetfootball.com that Bordeaux were interested in Traore, but that they could face competition for his signature.
"Bordeaux are very interested in signing Djimi Traore," Diouf told Planetfootball.com.
"They want to take him on loan for next season, but there are also two other clubs who want to take him on loan."
