Juninho's dad ready to fly in
JUNINHO'S father and agent has confirmed that he is ready to open talks with Middlesbrough.
Osvaldo Giroldo Senior was quoted last week as saying that his son was considering his options, before deciding whether to sign for Boro, but he is now ready to sign.
"We now invite these discussions," said Giroldo from his home in Sao Paolo.
"We know how interested they [Middlesbrough] are but we are now looking to go into specifics of the deal.
"As soon as they call me and we establish the proper links again, I will fly over to complete the dialogue."
Boro revealed on Tuesday that they hoped to continue talks this week and a deal now looks close to completion.
