Ricken blasts Voller conduct
The Borussia Dortmund midfielder, 25, was called up as a late replacement for the injured Sebastian Deisler but did not play a single minute in the Japan/South Korea showpiece.
"Something needs to be sorted out there," Ricken told the 'Ruhr Nachrichten'.
"I conducted myself in a completely professional manner in Japan and South Korea. If I was not going to play a role then Voller should have taken a 20-year-old instead."
Germany defied all the odds to surge to the final with Torsten Frings making the wide right position his own.
Frings joined Ricken at Dortmund during the tournament but the latter insists he is not worried about losing his place to the ex-Werder Bremen man.
"Every time a new player comes in it is related to me. It all takes care of itself, especially taking into account the number of games in Die Bundesliga, German Cup and Champions League," continued Ricken.
