Penbe to hold Gala talks
The 30-year-old Turkish international has been a consistent figure in the Gala midfield for the last eight seasons, and has hinted the time is right to test himself on a bigger stage.
His agent has been speaking to Gala with regard to the player`s future, and Penbe has revealed a serious bid from an interested party would secure his signature.
He said: "Galatasaray have big plans and I have an agreement with them for two years.
"But if a club bids $2.5 million, I can go.
"If Galatasaray decide they don't want me, I want to play in Europe."
Newcastle, Liverpool and Tottenham are just three of the interested parties, and Penbe is aware there is substantial interest in his signature.
"There are a lot of offers for me," he said. "I will discuss all of them with Galatasaray. I prefer Galatasaray above any other team in Turkey."
Penbe has expressed disappointment with the wage structure in his home country, adding: "In Turkey, clubs pay much more money to foreigners than Turkish players but we play just as good football as the foreigners."
