Reds complete Diouf swoop
The Lens star arrived on Merseyside to meet his new team-mates on Tuesday and after talks with boss Gerard Houllier, has signed the deal to complete his switch to Anfield.
The 21-year-old was one of the stars of Senegal's superb World Cup run and Houllier has splashed out around £10 million for his services.
The Reds are now just waiting for his registration to come through to seal the deal that will see 'The Serial Killer' added to Houllier's side in another assault on The Premiership next season.
Diouf will turn out for training at Melwood on Monday with Liverpool's other new additions Alou Diarra and Bruno Cheyrou after they completed their moves to Merseyside.
Diouf should be joined by Senegal team-mate Salif Diao at some stage, although it is still unclear as to when he will fly in to the club.
Houllier's £9 million swoop for Lee Bowyer is also moving closer as he travelled to Melwood to meet with the boss.
The Reds are now just waiting for the results of the medical before the deal is sealed after he reportedly agreed personal terms.
