Reggina seal double swoop
The Serie outfit have paid around £1 million for 50 percent of Mendil's contract and given Cosenza three of their young players Stefano Casale, Nicola Pagani and Mario La Canna.
The 23-year-old, who scored 10 goals in Serie B last term, hopes to repeat that form at The Granillo Stadium
"I am confident that Reggina can play good football, I am sure I will be a key-player in this team," said Mendil.
Castellazzi, who had been linked with a move to Sunderland, has joined on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent move.
The 27-year-old's place at Brescia was placed under threat by the arrival of Matteo Sereni from Ipswich and the club have allowed him to go out on loan for first team football.
Castellazzi admitted he was surprised to be allowed to leave the club having been first choice keeper last season, but was happy.
"Last season I played 34 games in a Brescia shirt," said Castellazzi. "I was sure to be confirmed at Rigamonti Stadium, but now I am happy to be here at Reggio Calabria".
