Inzaghi: Mancini will bring out my best

The talented young striker has thus far failed to sustain the kind of form that had many predicting a more glittering career than his older brother, and Milan star, Filippo.

However, Mancini has already expressed his admiration for the young predator, and Inzaghi is relishing his idol's tenure as coach.

"I know that the coach Roberto Mancini likes my football," said Inzaghi.

"I am sure that I will play well this season, and that Lazio will be a success.

"The chairman has confirmed that Alessandro Nesta is likely to stay so I think we have a shot at a Champions League place."
