Jancker joins Udinese
The Bayern Munich target-man has put pen-to-paper on a five-year contract with the Serie A side after being frozen out of the picture at the Olympic Stadium.
The 27-year-old did not score a single Bundesliga goal last term and coach Ottmar Hitzfeld decided to let him go, with Roque Santa Cruz, Giovane Elber and Claudio Pizarro giving Bayern sufficient striking options.
Jancker will hope to use his aerial strength and physical frame to terrorise defences in Italy and hope that is enough to win him a first team place in the German national side.
"I am very glad that everything has gone according to plan and I look forward to the challenge," Jancker told 'AZ'.
Fellow German Oliver Bierhoff could also be re-joining Udinese, although his wage demands are set to be a major stumbling block to any transfer.
