Veron - We owe country a massive debt
The pre-tournament favourites crashed out of the finals at the first hurdle after only winning one of their group games.
Manchester United star Veron feels that the whole side let the country down with their performances and vowed to repay them at the next finals in 2006 in Germany.
"After we were sent out of the World Cup we sweared that we were going to have revenge so we are going make a bigger effort than ever for having what we feel we deserve in the next World Cup," said Veron.
"We will give our lives for Bielsa and the National Team besides that we have already done that".
"We feel that we owe something to Bielsa, the people and the country, so in the next World Cup we wish to get what we had promised to ourselves and to everyone else".
Meanwhile, reports emanating from Argentina suggest that Argentine FA boss, Julio Grondona, together with Nestor Pekerman, are thinking of offering Bielsa a new two-year deal to stay in charge of the side.
Bielsa was widely expected to be released after Argentina's failure in Japan/Korea as his contract expired after the finals
Reports suggest he will get a two-year deal to take charge until the 2004 Copa America and should he guide Argentina to success there he would be given an extra two-year deal to take charge of their 2006 World Cup qualifying campaign.
