Foletti waiting for Rams return
Foletti spent the closing three months of the last campaign with The Rams after arriving from Luzern on a free transfer.
He was primarily back up for Poom and Andy Oakes but mustered two appearances as The Rams were relegated from The Premiership.
The 28-year-old only had a contract until the end of the season and has now returned to his homeland.
But the shot-stopper has revealed he will be heading back to the East Midlands once Derby have cashed in on Poom.
The Estonian keeper had been tracked by Everton but The Toffees were unwilling to meet Derby's asking price and signed Arsenal's Richard Wright instead, leaving Foletti currently in limbo.
"The impasse is due to the position of Poom, the holder of the number one shirt," said Foletti.
"He was wanted by Everton but the two clubs did not find an economic agreement after lengthy negotiations.
"When he is sold, I will board an aeroplane and sign a new contract. As soon as the call comes, I can leave. I have already packed my suitcase."
