Seagulls ready to sign Tiler
The 32-year-old was one of 16 players allowed to leave the Fratton Park club in March and The Seagulls may be ready to sign the former Charlton and Everton man on a free transfer.
Tiler attracted the interest of fellow Division One side Bradford City last February and rejected a move to Division Two outfit Colchester United in March, just days after being allowed to move on by Pompey.
He joined Portsmouth in a £250,000 move from The Addicks in March 2001 but failed to make an impression with the club during his spell at Fratton Park.
With Hinshelwood showing his interest in signing the veteran defender, Tiler may fancy a short move along the South Coast in order to kick-start his career with the Division One newcomers.
