Dehu's PSG future in doubt

Dehu had a minor altercation with Fernandez a year ago but the pair's working relationship has now reached a new low.

The central defender has been omitted from the PSG squad for their opening match of the season against Auxerre on Saturday.

The stopper's exclusion from the set-up for the clash follows on from his decision earlier in the summer to relinquish the captaincy.

Dehu had worn the skipper's armband for PSG last season but has handed it to Mauricio Pochettino for the coming campaign.

After being frozen out for Le Championnat curtain-raiser this weekend, Dehu's future at Parc des Princes is in serious doubt.

Real Sociedad are believed to have made tentative enquiries about enticing the 29-year-old back to La Liga but they have yet to firm up their interest in the former Barcelona man.
