Sforza contract terminated by Bayern
BAYERN MUNICH have terminated the contract of Swiss star Ciriaco Sforza.
The 32-year-old utility player had a year remaining on his contract at the Olympic Stadium but that has been terminated by mutual consent.
"We have come to a mutual agreement that his contract should be terminated. He will not play for Bayern Munich again," said Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
"He has decided to waive aside a lot of money in wages and that is the best solution for both parties. He now has the chance to find another club."
Sforza has been linked with moves to Hamburg and FC Aarau in his homeland in recent weeks.
