Cherries bring in reinforcements

BOURNEMOUTH have strengthened their squad ahead of their opening league match against Boston United with the arrivals of Chris Tardif and Marcus Browning.

Tardif arrives on a one-month loan from Portsmouth, while Browning has signed a non-contract deal with the club.

The 22-year-old Tardif made only one start for Pompey last season and was keen to join another outfit on loan in a bid to gain first team experience.

Pompey are now left with new-signing Shaka Hislop and Japanese international Yoshikatsu Kawaguchi as contenders for the Fratton Park number one jersey next season.

Browning has signed a short-term deal in a bid to play in The Cherries` opening match against Boston, before signing a longer-term contract at Dean Court.
