Rennes keeper makes Sky Blue switch

FRENCH side Rennes say that they have agreed a deal with Coventry City for goalkeeper Fabien Debec.

The 26-year-old shot-stopper has been on trial at Highfield Road and looks to have impressed Sky Blues boss Gary McAllister enough to earn the move.

Rennes general manager Pierre Dreossi revealed that he has signed a one-year deal with Coventry, with an option for another two years after that.

Meanwhile, as Julien Escude's freak injury has put his Manchester United move in doubt, Anthony Reveillere could be the one to leave Route de Lorient.

The French Under-21 international is a ‚é¼6 million target of Valencia and Lyon and could be on the move soon.

As with Escude, Reveillere is becoming unsettled at the club and would jump at the chance of a move to a bigger club.

"This club needs stability, for the moment I am confident that I will not need to be involved in a power struggle, because I want keep my good relationship with Rennes.

"But if nothing happens soon, I will change my mind. You can't keep a player against his will. I have done my time here, playing for salvation is tiresome."

Rennes' Senegal international Lamine Diatta could laso been on the verge of leaving after attracting the interest of Turkish side Galatasaray.
