Rivaldo eyeing international retirement?
Following the prestigious tournament in Korea and Japan, the former Barcelona star has since signed for Serie A giants Milan after being released by Louis van Gaal at Camp Nou.
Since making his debut against Mexico on December 16,1993 the 30-year-old has gone on to earn over 60 caps for the national side.
The Recife-born midfielder has endured a rollercoaster ride at international level, firstly missing out on the 1994 Brazilian squad for the United States World Cup before starring in France 1998.
Rivaldo was named in the 1998 Fifa All-Star XI, and continued his impressive form netting five goals along with Miroslav Klose in Korea and Japan.
After nine years of football at the highest level, it is believed the star may be considering hanging up his international boots and concentrate on playing out his illustrious career in Italy.
