Haaland visits knee guru

ALF INGE HAALAND has travelled to America to see revered knee surgeon Dr Richard Steadman.

The Manchester City man is currently involved in a wrangle with Roy Keane over the Manchester United midfielder`s controversial autobiography, but it appears as if he is more concerned with getting his career back on track.

Haaland has not started a match since his clash with Keane 17 months ago, and has travelled to the states to see Dr Steadman.

Haaland's lawyer Dag Steinfeld, who evaded questions about the lawsuit that may be taken against Keane, said: "Alf Inge is in the United States visiting one of the best in the business."

Newcastle ace Alan Shearer claimed Steadman rescued his career, and he also treated Ronaldo, and Haaland will hope he can work his magic on him.
