Di Vaio signs for Juve

JUVENTUS have completed the capture of Marco Di Vaio from Parma on loan with Under-21 international Matteo Brighi moving in the opposite direction.

The club's official site disclosed the details of the transfer stating Juve will pay £4.6 for the loan deal, with the side paying an additional £9.3 over three instalments to complete the deal, should they decide to make the move permanent.

Internazionale were linked with a swoop for Di Vaio as a possible replacement for Brazilian superstar Ronaldo, who seems destined for a move to Real Madrid, however the Guiseppe Meazza have now missed out on the 26-year-old.

De Vaio attracted the interest over a number of clubs during the summer break, after an outstanding Serie A campaign last season in which the star netted 22 goal from 37 starts and three substitute appearances.

Parma have compensated the loss of De Vaio, by capturing newly-capped Italian international Brighi.

The 21-year-old, who only signed for the Stadio Delle Alpi stadium outfit in May from Bologna, featured against Parma last wek after coming on for the second half in the club's Super Cup match in Libya.
