Kanu ready for Super Eagles return
Taiwo Ogunjobi, chief of the Nigerian Football Association (NFA), was informed on Wednesday by the player that he has recovered from injury and will be able to join his team mates for training in Luanda on Thursday.
Nigerian coach Christian Chukwo, said: "I visited Kanu in London and he assured me he is fit again and will be available for the match in Angola."
The Arsenal striker's participation in the game had been in doubt after he picked up an ankle injury in the 1-1 draw against Chelsea
Chukwo also confirmed that Everton's Joseph Yobo would also feature.
While Kanu and Yobo will both play, the Nigerians will be without Bolton's Jay Jay Okocha, PSG starlet Bartholomew Ogbeche and Justice Christopher of Levski Sofia.
Schalke 04 striker Victor Agali and Peter Ijeh of Malmo have been called up as replacements for the injured trio.
