Capello non-plussed at Roma
Capello is reportedly growing disillusioned with life at the helm of the Roman club, seemingly because of the board's reticence to bring in number one summer target Edgar Davids.
Director of sport Franco Baldini recently revealed that they were not prepared to make a move that could make things tight financially at the club.
"We did not want to go out on limb to make a signing that could prove financially risky for the club," said Baldini.
Capello seemed non-plussed that he was not informed of the real reasons behind the decision not to move for Davids.
"I was not told about this situation," said Capello when questioned at a press conference.
"If I had known the club had financial problems that prevented the arrival of Davids, then I would not have asked for us to sign him."
