Trezeguet happy at Juve

JUVENTUS striker David Trezeguet insists he can only envisage his future being in Turin.

The French marksman has repeatedly been linked with a move to Premiership champions Arsenal.

But Trezeguet is adamant Juve now have the ability to realistically compete with the continent's leading clubs again and has now desire to jump ship.

"I am in a club that has given me everything," affirmed Trezeguet.

"I still have three years remaining on my contract, and if I can extend...we will see.

"Juventus are almost at the level of Real, Barcelona, Internazionale, Milan, Manchester United and Arsenal. Moreover, I have adapted well to Italy."

Trezeguet missed the opening weeks of the campaign with a knee injury, and is now pressing for a return to action.

However, he admits he is still not 100 percent and feels he is unlikely to be ready to feature for France in their Euro 2004 qualifying double-header in a fortnight.

"My knee is cured," Trezeguet added to L'Equipe. "I got injured about two months ago. I got a knock that provoked a tendon inflammation.

"It was an injury similar to the one Ronaldo had but me, I had time to cure it. Now it is okay.

"I know I am able to score again but physically, I don't feel at my best. This injury stopped my preparation.

"Now, I am just back at the disposal of the coach.

"Even if I hope to play a full match before the selection (for France), it should be difficult (to play).

"To reply to the national team selection, you have to feel very well physically and it is not the case at the moment.

"So for now, my main aim is to play again with Juventus."
