Fernandez denies Ronaldinho bust-up
The Brazilian international, on the wanted list of numerous top clubs in Europe, is said to have been involved in a heated discussion with the PSG manager.
After a disappointing draw with Montpellier, Fernandez had a meeting with the players who performed at Stade de la Mosson.
At the end of the meeting, it is believed he had a one-on-one chat with Ronaldinho, and it may not have been a friendly discussion.
"It was just to say to the player to be careful in the future with the referees," explained Fernandez.
"This is because the referee at Montpellier complained to me about him at the end of the match.
"I did exactly the same with Jose Aloisio when he was in the referees' sights.
"All the rumours are unfounded.
"There was no disagreement between us. For me, Ronnie is not an important pawn, but a greatly important one.
"Until now, I always protected him and I will continue to do so.
"You know, it is in my interest that he is as good as possible."
However, agent Roberto Assis has asked to meet Fernandez in a bid to resolve the matter.
