Feyenoord complete Pardo deal
The 21-year-old has signed a five-year deal with the Dutch club.
The Uefa Cup holders had until January to take up an option on Pardo, who had been on loan from Universidad de Chile.
A host of sides began to show an interest in Pardo after some very impressive form for Feyenoord, which included him scoring the winner in their Champions League match at Newcastle.
Pardo has cost around $1.5 million (£950,000), after the fee was agreed when he first arrived at De Kuip.
A number of English sides will continue to monitor the player, currently with one cap to his name, over the next season to see how he progresses.
Should an English side want him, then they should be able to lure him away, after his agent Ronen Katzav confirmed that clauses had been inserted in the player's contract.
"There are clauses which will allow him to move on should a big club from one of the big leagues make an offer for him," Katzav told planetfootball.
