Inter put Lovenkrands under microscope

INTERNAZIONALE scout Marco Branca has reportedly been running the rule over Rangers wide-man Peter Lovenkrands as coach Hector Cuper continues his public search for a tricky winger.

The Danish international, one of the quickest players in the SPL, has been a revelation at Ibrox since joining in a £1.5 million deal from AB Copenhagen in June 2000.

Juventus were interested in the Dane and now Inter, who have been strongly linked with Real Madrid's Santiago Solari and Boudewijn Zenden of Chelsea, are believed to be tracking the 20-year-old.

Branca has been observing several Gers matches this term and is thought to have been impressed by Lovenkrands and Spaniard Mikel Arteta.
