Frandsen fears for Danish future

BOLTON WANDERERS midfielder Per Frandsen has admitted he fears that his international career with Denmark may be over.

The former Blackburn Rovers ace was left out of the Danish squad for last weekend's Euro 2004 qualifier with Luxembourg having been omitted from the World Cup.

The 32-year-old now feels he is no longer part of Danish coach Morten Olsen's plans and that he will not get the chance to add to his 22 caps.

"It's been going okay for me this season and I'm enjoying my football," said Frandsen.

"But the national team is all over for me now after not going to the World Cup in the summer.

"I'm just working as hard as ever for Bolton."
