Ronaldo backs Vieri

RONALDO feels Christian Vieri is the man to sink Juventus in Internazionale's big match on Saturday.

The Brazilian superstar, transferred to Real Madrid in the summer, has bad memories from a 1998 encounter with Juve, but is convinced Inter will triumph in the Serie A clash.

"It will be Vieri's match," predicted Ronaldo.

"A player like him is able to make you feel stronger than you really are."

As for the 1998 match, Ronaldo complains that Inter were denied a clear penalty when Mark Iualiano should have been penalised.

"It has been one of the worst days of my career," he added.

"I hope Inter will be able to cancel that big disappointment, in addition to the one we had on May 5th."
