Benitez unhappy at Argentine call-ups

Bielsa has selected Kily Gonzalez, Pablo Aimar and Roberto Ayala from the Spanish outfit for the country's upcoming friendly against Japan.

Benitez has blasted the Argentine coach for calling-up three of his key players for a meaningless tie, whilst also claiming that it is hard to get in touch with the man.

"In the world of football there seem to be very high pedestals, and Bielsa must be on one because it is impossible to speak with him," said a frustrated Benitez.

Benitez was particularly incensed when the Argentine national coach was unavailable to talk with him, after watching Valencia's 1-0 win over Espanyol in Barcelona.

"For example last Sunday he was in Barcelona to see our match against Espanyol, but I didn't have an opportunity to talk with him," added Benitez.
