Tobias admits injury frustration

TOBIAS LINDEROTH picked up a hamstring injury in Everton's Worthington Cup clash against Newcastle United in midweek, and has expressed his disappointment at the timing of the problem.

The injury is likely to sideline the Swedish international for up to four weeks.

"It's typical, I have never had problems there before," he complained.

It is a bitter blow for Linderoth, who had only just forced his way into the Toffees midfield under manager David Moyes.

"I knew straight away it was serious," he told Expressen. "At first, I thought it was even worse."
