Rebrov on transfer list - agent

SERGEI REBROV'S agent Sandor Varga has revealed that his client has been put on Tottenham Hotspur's transfer list.

The Ukrainian striker has been out of favour since his £11 million move to White Hart Lane from Dinamo Kiev in June 2000.

His complete inability to break into the Spurs first team over the last two seasons has prompted speculation that Rebrov has been returning to Dinamo Kiev or moving to Russian side Spartak Moscow.

However, Varga has further revealed that his client is seeking a move to a club in Western Europe or another side in England.

Varga said: "He wants to stay in Western Europe and there are teams interested in him, including in England.

"Sergei is fit and okay, but Spurs have put him on the transfer list.

"They are not keen on him as a player.

"Normally, he'd be playing for the reserves to keep fit, but he had to fly back to the Ukraine because his father has been unwell."

Spurs are reported to be looking to receive £3 million for Rebrov and the striker will likely move on when the transfer windows open in January.
