Sedan give duo trials - win match appeal
27-year-old Konan-Kan hails from the Ivory Coast and has had previous spells with fellow Le Championnat sides Marseille and Ajaccio, as well as Swiss club Sion.
Moughfire, 24, is looking to have a second spell with the Stade Louis Dugauguez club, having spent time with Sedan a few seasons ago.
A French beach football international, Moughfire played last season in Greece.
Meanwhile, Sedan boss Henri Stambouli has opted not to keep young striker Philippe De Azevedo at the club, following a trial with the Ardennes outfit.
The French Under-18 international failed to impress Stambouli and will need to look for another club elsewhere.
Meanwhile, French league officials have confirmed that Sedan's away match against Auxerre will have to be replayed following an appeal.
The original encounter, which was played on September 21, saw the home side come away with a 3-1 victory over their Ardennes opponents.
However, Sedan claimed that following their equalising goal, two of their players were still on the Auxerre side of the pitch when the referee allowed the home side to kick-off and re-start the match.
Auxerre ended up racing down the pitch and went back in front before sealing the three points with a third goal.
But Le Championnat officials have agreed that the match referee was in the wrong to re-start the match before all of Sedan's players were on the right side of the ball following their equaliser.
It means that the September 21 result at the Stade Abbe-Deschamps has been expunged and a new date for the fixture will need to be found.
Auxerre boss Guy Roux was upset but conciliatory with the league's decision to have the match replayed.
Roux said: "I am legalist, and when you are in the football world, you have to yield to the authorities.
"So, if we have to play again, we'll play again.
"However, we can't understand that decision.
"The Fifa rules were flouted as they trusted the video because there was no official witness.
"Moreover, two Sedan players infringed the rules and it is Auxerre who are sanctioned.
"We will see after the Champions League campaign what will be suitable to do next.
"We haven't had our last word.
"This decision is a very strong vote of non-confidence against the referees."
With Auxerre being eliminated from the Champions League and having lost top spot in Le Championnat, this latest setback means the club drop to seven in the table - five points behind leaders Nice.
