Ronaldinho eager for return

RONALDINHO says he is ready to return to action for Paris Saint Germain following injury, and wants to play two games in a week.

The Brazilian has been out with a groin injury but says that he is now raring to get back into the action.

Far from taking it easy, the Samba star wants to play in the Uefa Cup clash with National Bucharest as well as next week's French league game against Lens.

"I have spent all my life on a football pitch, so when I am off of it, it is very difficult to live," said Ronaldinho.

"I feel ready to play 90 minutes twice, against National Bucarest and against Lens. I am prepared for that."

Ronaldinho has only just resumed full training but says that he has told boss Luis Fernandez that he is capable of playing both games.

"I didn't feel anything in training. I was very fit. I think I could have played a match on Monday.

"I told the coach I felt very well, I am ready to play on Thursday.

"My motivation will be the same. By playing this match, I will prepare myself for the Sunday one against Lens."

Although he is due to fly to The Far East for Brazil's friendly with South Korea, Ronaldinho says that he is considering remaining with his club at his coach's request.

"We talked about that quickly. I am very happy the Brazilian selector called me, but Luis would prefer me to stay, because we are living a very important period for the club.

"We will talk about that again on Thursday, after the match against Bucharest, to decide if I can leave or not with the selection."

Fernandez is even more keen to keep Ronaldinho following injuries to both Bartholomew Ogbeche and Aloisio, with their respective thigh and knee injuries keeping the forwards out for a month.
